British comedian and writer Dom McGovern is establishing himself as one of the most exciting emerging talents in British comedy following a breakout 2026.

A co-writer on Amelia Dimoldenberg’s Chicken Shop Date, McGovern has supported Aisling Bea and Sophie Duker on tour and made his Edinburgh Fringe debut in 2026 with Prize Hog, earning an Edinburgh Comedy Award nomination. Widespread critical acclaim followed, including a four star review from The Guardian, which hailed him as ‘a sharp stand-up who is sure to go stellar’. Following his successful Fringe debut, McGovern went on to sell out his run at Soho Theatre and is set to return in February 2027 for a second run.
